In April 2021 we had the pleasure of entering a garden for the Master Landscapers of South Australia inaugural Landscape Competition at the Home Show.

This exhibition garden gave us the freedom and opportunity to explore ideas not always possible in a client’s garden. A custom made clear acrylic pond saw us experimenting with new ideas and construction methods, while the airbrush art on the recycled timber wall created a dramatic centre piece in an artistic medium not often used in landscape design.

The minimalist hardscape and timber pergola provide structure to the design, with an eclectic and complex plant palette used to create an inviting, relaxed, plant rich space. The whole garden was then washed with simple modern lighting to further enhance texture through the interplay of light and shadow.

It is amazing what can be built in a couple of days with a talented team, a good bit of experience and a whole lot of planning.
