This project in collaboration with Neighbour Labour and New Landscapes (construction) won the Landscape Association of South Australia 2013 awards for both the design and construction categories under $30,000.

The clients wished to incorporate a spa in a manner that sat well in the space, provided a view from the bedroom, did not impede access, and they had a preference for a modern Asian style.

The orientation of the shade sail offers shade in summer and allows sun to penetrate in winter. It also diverts the large amount of leaf litter that ended up in the courtyard from the Eucalypts in the reserve.
